Ben Igoe serves as co- founder and principal of JBS Project Management, LLC, a boutique project management and owner’s representative company started in 2004. His daily tasks include project management from design to project completion, filings with the Department of Buildings, procuring and managing a design team, overseeing the day to day construction, developing resolutions for environmental issues, managing cost allocations, obtaining commercial tax abatements and energy savings grants. He believes that a diverse and balanced approach to projects to achieve maximum success and that the best way to manage a job is through an honest, hardworking and open management approach. Ben has an intricate knowledge of managing construction projects in New York City from governmental requirements to design to construction to sales. His passion for energy efficient projects has led him to work on multiple passive house projects, including those in which HPI is an owner/developer.

Ben graduated from Villanova University in 1996 with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. After university, Ben went into the Army with the Corps of Engineers where he led a platoon of soldiers in both combat engineering and construction projects. Once he completed his service as a Captain, Ben went on to work for Turner Construction in San Francisco, where his main focus was on high tech projects and clean rooms. Ben left San Francisco to complete a Master’s in Finance from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Upon returning to the United States, Ben went to work for Turner Construction in New York City focusing on historic restoration, waterfront rehabilitation and base building upgrades. In 2004, Ben left Turner and co-founded JBS Project Management with Sam Provisero.


Samuel Provisero also serves as a co-founder and principal of JBS Project Management, LLC, and has an extensive background and knowledge of development, construction and project management in New York City. Sam serves as Developer or Project Manager for several large renovation projects, from residential and commercial to manufacturing throughout New York City, as well as other areas throughout the United States. His tasks include full project management of design, obtaining all required filing, approvals and permits for each project as well as the actual construction. He brings considerable expertise and experience in the design and construction of complex building projects.

After graduating from Villanova University with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Civil Engineering, Sam served as a Project Manager and Estimator for Component Assembly Systems in Pelham, NY. There he also worked as a carpenter, allowing him to understand and experience the complete construction of a project from its foundation. Sam went on to work for the Turner Construction Company in New York City. At Turner, he was allowed the position to gain particular experience in the preparation of proposals and managing construction contracts for large development projects. In 2004, Sam co-founded JBS Project Management along with Ben Igoe.


Steven Hafif combines over twenty years of real estate law practice with a focus on real property development and investment.  Mr. Hafif has syndicated  and managed multiple developments.  His intricate knowledge of real estate law in conjunction with his actual experience in development provide a competitive edge to ensuring the effective management and development of the company’s properties.
